Share a moment of discovery of the mountain secrets during a walk in the forest, far from the slopes. And learn, according to the promenade, how adapts the mountain wildlife in this difficult environment.

Required Level: You just need the desire to discover mountain in winter. From 7 to 77 years old (or more!).

Half day and full day snowshoeing sessions are available.

THEMATIC OUTINGS

  • Sunday: discovery of the region and awareness of the environment. Walk on Agy ridge between the Arve and Giffre valleys. Discovery of the nordic ski sector between forest and open fields. View over the Mt Blanc massif and Aravis. Very easy level: 3h walk, altitude difference: 200m ascent.
                           
  • Monday: Walk in the Massif of Uble Peak to observe the whole mouflon family in a small isolated valley. Telescope for adults and children. Very easy level: 3h walk, altitude difference: 200m ascent.
             
  • Tuesday: Walk in the corrie of the Fer à Cheval (Horseshoe) to learn and observe the mountain fauna and its survival in winter (ibex, chamois, eagles, vultures). Telescope for adults and children. Very easy level: 3h walk, altitude difference: 220m ascent.
  
  • Wednesday: Hiking at the top of the Bourgeoise (above Samoëns), 360° panorama over the Mont Blanc massif, Switzerland and the Jura. Easy level: 3h walk, altitude difference: 300m ascent.

  • Thursday: Hiking on the very wild plateau of Loex in the middle of a beautiful coniferous forest, great views of Mont Blanc, Chablais and Aravis. Observations of many animals footprints (chamois, hare, fox...) we will give you some tips to recognize them. Easy level: 3h walk, altitude difference: 250m ascent.
     
  • Friday: Chamois Hike in the Foron Valley to discover the chamois wintering site and to observe them in their privacy at the bottom of Roc d'Enfer. Telescopes for adults and children. Easy level: 3h walk, altitude difference: 300m ascent.
                                                                                          
  • Wednesday NIGHT WITH FONDUE: Authentic evening with a walk in the forest up to an alpine chalet to enjoy a good fondue prepared together next to the fireplace. Torchlight descent. Limited places. (Meals: Fondue 3 cheeses, cold cuts, 1/4 white wine, chocolate banana, grilled). We plan to be back by 11pm. Easy level: 3h walk, altitude difference: 200m ascent.     
               
  • Thursday: PANORAMA DAY: Hiking on the Loex massif to discover the panorama of the Mont Blanc massif, the Chablais and the Aravis. A wild getaway on the mountains for a whole day. Average level: 5 to 6 hour walk, altitude difference: 600m ascent.
